Streets Ahead – Cleaning Up Balsall Heath
Balsall Heath is galvanised to pick litter every month on the first Sunday. Al Abbas Islamic Centre, CUUK, Friends of Seven Streets Park and many other local partners are all out on the streets supporting each other and cleaning up. We’ll be litter picking and doing other park maintenance tasks in the little park on the other side of the railway bridge. Come and say hi if you’re heading up Clifton Road. There is tea/coffee/squash and biscuits!
Cleaning together
The initiative to clean up Balsall Heath, supported by Local Councillors Duncan Ali and Jamil Khan, brings together communities and local activitists, some of which who have worked for decades to make a difference.
