As part of the winter Bring it on Brum! programme supported by the Department of Education and Birmingham City Council; families have the opportunity to request a winter food box. These food boxes complement their programme of face-to-face holiday activity clubs.
Every year Ort Gallery exhibits its members art work in a group show celebrating local talent at different stages of their careers. This year the members show will run from 19th November to 15th December 2022.

Homeowners and tenants living in Balsall Heath can apply to have work done on their homes that could significantly reduce their energy bills.
There’s no household income cap, or requirement to be on benefits etc, but the scheme is for older homes with poor energy rating (D,E,F,G EPCs).
The scheme is completely free for eligible owner-occupiers.
Private landlords need to pay a one-third contribution.
The three-page form attached needs to be filled in by the resident to apply and agree for a surveyor to visit.

We have been working hard and signed up nearly 400 homes since Balsall Heath Carnival in July.
We now have just 12 working days left (to 23 Nov) to get this message out to everyone in Balsall Heath who qualifies, and return signed forms.
After that, any left-over money will go back to Whitehall.
