Tonight there is a Ward meeting at Balsall Heath Church Centre at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
Bridge Club is an event for children aged 7-11 (School Year 3- 6). The club includes Crafts, Games, Bible Stories, Quizes, Drama.
It’s on over the half-term from 29th May to 2nd of June at Edward Road Baptist Church.

I worked in Clifton School in the 80s. I think today is good because it’s bringing the whole community which is living here. The locals, all age groups are here. A lot of children don’t really see nature and animals and this is a chance. They are feeding them and touching them.
If somebody had told me that one of the highlights of my year was going to be watching a lamb being sheared at Balsall Heath City Farm, I would have asked the barman to serve me whatever they were drinking.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for bringing young people together and old people like me. I’m working with today with a young person with autism who loves music and it’s a really good venue for her.
Bright Future’s Presentation Award event marked an end to a 6 months of 2 Mini Football Leagues.
The number of Street watch volunteers are going up across the city… are you interested in forming a street watch group in your local area?
A number of officers from departments across the force have been working together with Birmingham East officers in response to a number of serious violent incidents that have been playing out on our streets in recent days.
We have had a number of Burglaries and reports of attempted Burglaries in the Calthorpe area. Last week we arrested and charged one offender in relation to this. Please continue to keep windows and doors locked and report any suspicious activity to 101 or via the live chat service we provide.

Welcome to the neighbourhood The Mix Café! After an absence of too long, it’s fantastic to have a café back in The Old Print Works!
As a part of Volunteers’ Week 2019, BVSC is holding an event for volunteer-involving social action organisations in Birmingham. The event to be held on Mon 3 June will be a morning of discussion and co-production around the future of volunteering in the city. The event will focus on working together to articulate a collective Birmingham voice around volunteering into 2020 and beyond.
