Birmingham’s housing crisis is urgent—join our 29 April 7pm Zoom hustings to challenge politicians and demand real solutions.
Housing in Birmingham isn’t just an issue—it’s a daily struggle for thousands. It’s the number one reason residents contact their councillors, and for good reason. Rents and house prices are soaring. Over 25,000 households remain trapped on waiting list. Regeneration is forcing communities out. Too many people are living with mould, damp and disrepair. And the ongoing scandal of exempt housing continues to affect our city.
This cannot go unanswered.
That’s why Birmingham Fair Housing Campaign is bringing decision-makers together for our online ‘Hustings for Homes’ ahead of the local elections. Join us on Wednesday 29th April at 7pm on Zoom to hear directly from those seeking power—and what they will do about this crisis.
You’ll hear from:
- Cllr Lisa Trickett (Labour Party)
- Cllr Roger Harmer (Liberal Democrats)
- Cllr Jane Jones (Independent)
- Cllr Robert Alden (Conservative)
- Cllr Julien Pritchard (Green Party)
This is your opportunity to demand answers, challenge priorities, and ensure housing is not ignored. Real change starts with people like you showing up. Join us and help push housing to the top of Birmingham’s agenda.
Have a question you want put to the panel? Email bf**@*********rg.uk before the 27th April and we’ll aim to include it.
